What is the price of a child’s future? A life free from the horrors of HIV/AIDS and the inevitability of a life on the streets?
The ARTbar Gallery hosted an exhibit in February 2008, to support Kids with Destiny. The purpose of this exhibit was to raise awareness of the epidemic of human trafficking and to GIVE HOPE to the children living in the red-light district of Calcutta, India. The funds raised went toward financing the construction and facilitation of health care clinics free of charge to the women and children in the red-lights.
Thank you to all the artists and supporters that helped to raise over $4000. The lives of many children will forever be impacted. It was truly our pleasure to host this fundraising event for Kids with Destiny. To view more information on this organization, visit their website at: www.kidswithdestiny.org.
